Girl: What are those brown things?
Me: Nipples. (Lord. Not this again.)
Girl: Is that where babies come out of?
Me: No. (Lord. No.)
Girl: Is that where milk comes out of?
Me: Yes. When mommies have babies.
Girl: Why do mommies have milk for babies?
Me: (Not this again. Please, no. Haven't I been good? I took them to Mass while solo parenting!!!!)
Me: Because that's what babies need to eat. Darling, Mommy is going to go insane soon, so can we please just go to bed now?
Girl: What's "insane?"
Me: It means not thinking clearly, and trust me, you don't want that.

HAR!
The J-dog calls them, "buttons" and no more questions asked. It's good enough for me.

Charlie cried the other day because "he had two ant bites on his tummy." You can guess what those were! Sigh.

Did that work? I might have to keep the insanity plea in my back pocket, if so.

Kyla - I did think it worked. She seemed concerned. It was also so not a lie.
